Child Care

CACHE provides courses to train and qualify practitioners in caring and educating children. The emphasis is on “learning by doing” – so workplace is an important part of the course.  Fast Forward at New College offers two levels of work based qualifications, at Level 2 and Level 3.

Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce, CACHE Level 2

This is the new qualification for 2010 and is now the only level 2 qualification available for those wishing to work with children.  The CACHE Level 2 Certificate is for people interested in careers in child care or who are already working with children. The course involves theory based tasks and direct observation of your workplace practice.

Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce, CACHE Level 3

The CACHE Level 3 Diploma is for people interested in child care or who are already working with children. You will develop the skills needed for a wide range of careers that involve the care and education of children and young people.
