These work-based qualifications are for practising Teaching Assistants in order to recognise their abilities and benchmark them against national standards. Qualifications are available at two different levels.
Level 2 is for those who are new to the role of Teaching Assistant and whose responsibilities are limited in scope. Level 3 is suitable for more experienced assistants with a wider range of duties and responsibilities. There is no exam associated with this qualification.
